Ars illustrandi: Icefall

Icefall is an image of winter, cold that can create a unique and fleeting icy beauty. The design is reminiscent of the struggle of ice and water, the moment when the glacier hardly succumbs to the ocean. The luminaire itself consists of colored glass elements bearing sharp lines, which turn into a flood of glistening trimmings in the middle. Like icebergs on the verge of their strength, they melt and disappear into the ocean. Icefall is the work of ARTGLASS designer Monika Šilhánová.
